Like our other publications, MUCHAS GRACIAS SEÑOR LOBO is a true passion project, created almost entirely in our spare time – which means it sometimes has to take a back seat to our regular work. That, of course, makes our schedules a bit more prone to delays. And that’s exactly what happened this time: some extra work on the GIALLO MOVIE POSTERS Vol. 2 hardcover pushed the timelines for our other upcoming books a little further back.
Right now, we’ve just wrapped up SON OF BANZAI!, and as we write this, the pre-order for the hardcover edition is already live. But we haven’t been idle when it comes to MUCHAS GRACIAS SEÑOR LOBO – quite the opposite! Most of the book (around 500 pages so far) is already fully laid out and is currently being reviewed chapter by chapter, while the remaining 100 pages are still in production.
We can also finally share some solid numbers about the content (though they might still change slightly before release):
The main section – focusing on Paul Naschy’s horror and thriller films – will include roughly 600 new images, while the appendix, “More Memorabilia,” will add another 300 illustrations featuring posters, lobby cards, and related materials.
All in all, you (and we!) can look forward to around 900 brand-new images in total.
There’s no updated release schedule yet, but we’ll keep you posted as soon as there’s news.
We’ll also be sharing progress updates along the way – which chapters are getting expanded, when the pre-order will start, and what kind of special perks we’ll have for early supporters.
